    SCCI has openings for Junior, Mid-level, and Senior Application Developers.  We are seeking creative and innovative staff for web application development and sustainment.  Our team provides technical IT services for information management systems to multiple major DoD programs.  Our systems include CM, Modernization Planning, and System Engineering tools.  If you are searching for the opportunity to work with a skilled and motivated team on leading-edge work come join us!     Responsibilities

    As a developer, you will join a skilled team of expert database, testing, and development personnel.  Each member of the team is afforded opportunities to take on responsibilities according to their experience level and profession growth goals.  Our staff mentors each other in their areas of expertise continuously enhancing the synergistic capability of the team. 

    • Design and develop web applications using modern lifecycle development frameworks.
    • Specify relational databases.
    • Write and maintain technical documentation.
    • Peer test application updates.
    • Share information on technical skills and mentor coworkers.
    • Participate in Change Control Boards and Technical Reviews.
    • Work in Windows, Unix, and Linux environments.

    Qualifications

    Essential Skills and Experience:

    • Must be a U.S. Citizen and have an ACTIVE SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE.
    • 3 to 6 or more years of technical experience with custom information systems development; Academic and Internship experience will be considered toward experience requirements.
    • Experience and strong desire to invent new ways of approaching problems and developing innovative applications.
    • Strong skills in debugging and troubleshooting applications to facilitate fixes and improvements.
    • Ability to clearly communicate ideas to coders, teammates and management.
    • Experience building information management applications and working with relational databases.
    • Experience working as part of a team of developers, coders, testers, and CM specialists.
    • Security+ CE Certification (or ability to attain within 45 days of employment).
    • Computing Environment Certification- Microsoft (MCSE- SharePoint 2013, MCSE- Productivity, MCSD- App Builder)- or ability to attain within 45 days of employment.
    • Experience in 2 of the following toolsets:
      • Web page content tools (ie., HTML , CSS 3 , Ajax, JavaScript (Angular, Bootstrap, Knockout, jQuery)
      • Net. ASP .Net/MVC
      • PHP
      • Java
      • SQL or PL/SQL
      • C#, C++
      • SQL Server or Oracle

     

    Preferred Skills and Experience:

    • Associate's Degree or higher in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or Math.
    • Windows Server 2012 R2 or higher experience.
    • RedHat Enterprise Linux.
    • Version control tools including git or Subversion.
    • Team Foundation Server.
