  • Overview

    SCCI is seeking a Training Specialist that will provide instructor-led training, curriculum development, and subject matter expertise for a Tactical Tomahawk training program. This position is located in San Diego, CA


    The Training Specialist will:


    • Conduct Tactical Tomahawk Operations and Maintenance training
    • Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) services to documentation and courseware developers
    • Develop curricula for Tomahawk Fire Controlmen and Officers
    • Provide Tomahawk support community and training centers with technical advice on system operation and maintenance
    • Assist training centers with configuring and maintaining Tomahawk training laboratories and classrooms


    Essential Skills and Experience:

    • Must be a U.S. Citizen and have an Active Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret Security Clearance
    • High School diploma or GED
    • 5+ years of experience directly related to developing curricula and providing operator and maintenance training for major weapons systems
    • TTWCS NEC 1136 / V20A
    • Navy NEC 9502 / 805A
    • Ability to collect and analyze source data for the purpose of developing curricula and course materials
    • Must have strong writing and verbal communication skills in order to successfully contribute in a team environment

    Preferred Skills and Experience:

    • U.S. Navy Master Training Specialist (MTS) certification
    • Authoring Instructional Materials (AIM) experience
    • Familiar with Navy standard NAVEDTRA 130 series
    • TTWCS NEC 1332 / V41A
    • Mission Distribution System (MDS) NEC 2778
    • GCCS-M experience
    • Satellite Communications / Tomahawk Strike Network (TSN) experience
