    SCCI currently has an exciting opportunity for an experienced leading-edge SharePoint Integration Lead to work in our King George, Virginia office near NSWCDD Dahlgren, VA. The lead of the SharePoint development team will lead the tasks of architecting, installing, configuring and administering large scale server farms using Microsoft enterprise technologies. These IT solutions will support a large user community including the Department of Navy, Department of Army, Department of the Air Force, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard.     Responsibilities

    The responsibilities of the SharePoint Integration Lead include:

    • Architecting, installing, configuring and administering large scale server farms using Microsoft enterprise technologies.
    • Managing Microsoft SharePoint implementation, design, development, administration and maintenance, including hardware configuration and Search Engine Optimization including performance monitoring and tuning.
    • Using Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) central administration, site administration, SharePoint Designer (SPD), SharePoint security models, WSP Builder, Microsoft Office SharePoint, enterprise search, user profiles, audiences, Cascading Style Sheet (CSS), and practical application of .NET Security Model Role Based Security implementation.
    • using STSADM commands for backup/restore operations, web part deployment, features and solutions management, and overall farm management and administration on development, test, staging and production server farms.
    • Troubleshooting all problems to reduce system and/or site down times.
    • Working with a team of SharePoint developers whose responsibilities are to:
      • Transition site functionality and data as required for upgrades and tool evolution.
      • Communicate and work with operations support personnel and administrators to resolve emergent issues.
      • Provide complete end-user support and training
      • Provide technical support through the preparation of briefings, technical review/status reports, attending Technical Design Reviews, and other applicable program meetings.
      • Perform content administration, including sites and site collection creation and configuration, security model design and implementation, permissions management for SharePoint users, groups, sites, site collections, libraries, and lists
      • Develop Web parts using Web Part Templates, deploy Web parts
      • Develop SharePoint applications using the SharePoint structured object model as well as SharePoint web services
      • Implement SharePoint site customization and codeless workflow development using SharePoint Designer
      • Design and develop workflows in Visual Studio

    Qualifications

    Essential Skills and Experience:

    • A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, business, or technical discipline and Five (5) years’ experience or Seven (7) years of experience with advanced knowledge and in-depth understanding of Microsoft Office SharePoint 2010 and 2013, SharePoint Designer, Visual Studio, InfoPath.
    • IT level 1 (Top Secret Clearance or Secret with SSBI).
    • IAT Level II certification – Security + ce.
    • Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) – SharePoint 2013 or greater certification. 
    • Experience with SharePoint 2016 and Office 365 SharePoint Online is desired.
    • 3 years’ experience in designing and developing solutions to address business needs, opportunities, and proposing changes in a SharePoint Environment.
    • 3 years in internal and external forums and develop recommendations relating to program direction and guidance.
    • 2 years in supporting engineering review boards, configuration management and requirements activities.
    • Ability to review requirements document and create technical design documents, unit test, system test, and implementation plans for small to complex projects.
    • Ability to design, develop, and support custom SharePoint solutions, sites, workflows, and web parts.
    • Desired experience in DoD system engineering lifecycle processes and configuration management processes.
