  • Overview

    SCCI is currently seeking a Jira Administrator to provide technical support, administration, and maintenance of Jira software. This is a surge support position expected to begin immediately and last approximately one year. This position is located in Dahlgren, VA.

    Responsibilities

    • Administer Jira software, supporting both development and production environments for users.
    • Provide technical support for HW/SW and database issues for Jira users.
    • Provide administration, maintenance, and upgrade support to Jira, Confluence, and integrated add-ons.
    • Monitor the system to respond to usability and performance concerns.
    • Manage SW installations and perform required SW version updates to Jira, Confluence, and all installed add-ons.
    • Manage user accounts and groups.
    • Support development and changes to workflows, screens, fields, and permission schemes within.

    Qualifications

    Essential Skills and Experience:

    • Must be a U.S. Citizen and have an ACTIVE SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE.
    • Experience with Java based applications.
    • Experience withJira and Confluence desired-
      • Understanding of Jira permissions sets preferred.
      • Experience with (add-ons including iDalko Table Grid Editor, Insight, Structure, and Jira Workflow Toolbox).
      • Experience with migrating content.
    • Experience using Jira REST APIs for integration to other tools.
    • Experience in both Linux and Windows platforms preferred.
    • Experience with managing SQL databases.
