  • Overview

    SCCI is seeking a Project Scheduler, to support maintenance of multiple Integrated Master Schedules (IMSs).  The Scheduler will work closely with the communications team, and support an immediate opening as part of a fast-paced, rapid acquisition DOD Program.  The Scheduler will also work closely with the team’s senior scheduler to build, compile and maintain schedules in support of multiple programs and customers. This position is located at our office in Dahlgren, VA

    Responsibilities

    The Project Scheduler will:

    • Compile and develop project and program level schedules based on data from various internal and external sources, and/or real-time inputs
    • Participate in weekly meeting(s), to support schedule updates, and help identify schedule risks and recommendations
    • Develop visuals, reports and briefings that summarize key milestones, critical paths, risks or other requested metrics
    • Provide updates to schedule files and visualizations in real-time during program meetings

    Qualifications

    Essential Skills and Experience

    • Must be a U.S. Citizen and have an Active Secret Security Clearance
    • Entry or Intermediate level of experience with MS Project (other scheduling tools such as Primavera or Open Plan also considered)
    • Strong communication and organizational skills
    • Ability to work independently or as part of a team, and meet strict deadlines
    • Ability to identify needs and proactively provide solutions 
    • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
    • Detail oriented, dependable and professional
    • Experience with MS Office Suite, also including Word, Excel, and Power Point

     

    Preferred Skills and Experience

    • Experience supporting DoD projects, including organizations, policies and practices
    • 1- 5 years professional experience as a Program Scheduler
    • Bachelor’s Degree
