    SCCI is currently recruiting for a talented Financial Analyst to work as a member of the H30 Engineering Services contract at Naval Surface Warfare - Dahlgren.  The position will be supporting the H30 and H32 Program Offices in Dahlgren, VA.

    Responsibilities

    • Tracking of program and project budgets. 
    • Preparation of cost and financial reports.
    • Verifying financial information.
    • Ensuring sufficient funds have been obligated.
    • Analyzing and evaluating the effectiveness of program operations in meeting established goals, requirements, and objectives.
    • Developing life cycle cost analyses of projects or performing cost benefit or economic evaluations of current or projected programs.
    • Analyzing information to develop program reporting systems including the systems specifications, data gathering and analytical techniques, and systems evaluation methodology.

    Qualifications

    Essential Skills, Experience, and Education/Certifications:

    • You must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance 
    • Five (5) years of experience in the area of accounting functions including tracking of program and project budgets, preparation of cost and financial reports, verifying financial information, and ensuring sufficient funds have been obligated.
    • Experience managing financial budget for Navy programs.
    • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office tools, primarily MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Self-starter with strong financial skills and ability to adapt to changes.
    • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
    • Proven Department of Navy (DoN) Financial Experience.
    • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning.

    Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education/Certifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
