    SCCI is currently recruiting for a Configuration Management Analyst to support the Configuration and Data Management contract at Naval Surface Warfare Center - Dahlgren. The candidate will be supporting Software Configuration Management of the Ground/Air Task Oriented Radar (G/ATOR) Project. This position is located in Dahlgren, VA

    Responsibilities

    • Provide Configuration Management in support of an integrated Software development team
    • Develop and maintain CM processes, policies, and procedures
    • Develop and maintain CM Plans and related CM program documents
    • Analyze and report on technical data flows, database effectiveness, resource allocations, major program issues, and action items
    • Perform data analysis from authoritative sources
    • Develop, maintain, and present briefings related to CM tasking
    • Maintain effective customer relationships
    • Facilitate communication flow within internal team and external customers.
    • Perform CM related functions (Planning, Configuration Identification, Status Accounting, Change Control, and Audits)
    • Manage and utilize various automated tools for support of CM functions
    • Travel locally to customer's site for meetings
    • Travel to support test events as required

    Qualifications

    Essential Skills and Experience:

    • Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE
    • 10+ years of direct Configuration Management experience
    • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or related discipline; or a directly related combination of training and work experience
    • Comprehensive knowledge of principles, methods, tools, and techniques used in configuration management support
    • Knowledge of the functional disciplines of configuration management (configuration identification, configuration control, status accounting, audits, configuration management planning, and data management, change management)
    • Experience and involvement with managing and participating in Change Control Boards
    • Highly motivated, ability to multi-task, and work a flexible schedule in surge situations
    • Demonstrated thorough understanding of the relationship of CM functions with other engineering disciplines
    • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in formal reports with higher authorities
    • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

    Preferred Skills and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in technical field or related discipline
