SCCI has an immediate opening for a dedicated Human Resources Administrative Assistant at our Corporate office in Frederick, MD. This position requires involvement with Executive Management necessitating a considerable amount of professionalism, attention to detail, and dependability.


  • Provide general support for all areas of the Human Resources Department
  • Greet visitors and answer phones in a professional manner
  • Order and Track office equipment and supplies
  • Creation of new hire packets as needed
  • Assist in onboarding new employees
  • Create and maintain employee files
  • Assist with coordinating Employee Service Award Program
  • Data entry and spreadsheet maintenance
  • Assist in termination processing (COBRA packages, 401(k) termination kits)
  • Assist with implementation of a new HRIS/Applicant Tracking system
  • Scanning, filing, and faxing
  • Other special projects and duties as assigned


Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 4 years of administrative experience with familiarity in Human Resources
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to identify needs and pro-actively provide solutions
  • Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
  • Impeccable communication, etiquette, and organizational skills
  • Detail-oriented, dependable, and professional
  • Advanced MS Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint


Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • SharePoint experience
  • Bachelor’s degree
