Overview

SCCI is seeking a Division Manager to take over the day to day and strategic operations in our Integrated Logistics Services (ILS) Division located in Austin, TX. The Division Manager will be responsible for providing support to technical programs and leadership to Program Manager's and their personnel. 

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct support for mission-essential requirements requiring division personnel
  • Prepare monthly budget and financial plan
  • Understand market trends and recognize market opportunities to support Business Development efforts and grow the division
  • Ensure communication is effective and ongoing throughout the division and between teams 
  • Develop and contribute to strategic plans and ensure the understanding, alignment and commitment to meeting goals
  • Define and establish clear performance standards
  • Collaborate to ensure that resources are prioritized, in place, and used to achieve objectives
  • Effectively use established processes to ensure accountability for effective operations and resource management
  • Participate in financial forecasting and planning along with other members of the management team
  • Effectively use established processes to: select, align, develop, motivate, manage and retain a team of highly skilled managers and staff
  • Create a workplace climate that ensures respect, teamwork, open communication, and professional recognition among a diverse workforce

Qualifications

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and have a Top Secret Security Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Business Operation's management with a proven track record of taking on increasing responsibilities
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills modeling a high standard of courtesy and cooperation
  • Knowledge of government contracting
  • Strong project management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to develop relationships internally and externally
  • Experience building a culture of collaboration and teamwork
