SCCI is seeking a Configuration Management Analyst to participate on a team providing varied Configuration Management (CM) support. As a Software CM Analyst, you would be responsible for providing support in Software Change Request(SWC), Processing, Notification of Configurations(NOCs), and Notification Builds(NOBs).  You will also be responsible for assisting in the development and maintenance of CM processes, policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) based on program requirements. This position is available immediately and located in Dahlgren, VA


  • Generate database reports such as meeting agendas and minutes, and tracking action items and change requests
  • Process Software Change Requests (SWC)
  • Generate Notification of Configuration(NOCs)
  • Generate Notification of Builds (NOBs)
  • Update and maintain database records for SWCs, NOCs, and NOBs
  • Generating SCINs 
  • Capture detailed technical comments while displaying to a live and web-based audience
  • Generate various status accounting reports, perform audits, and other CM duties  
  • Generate/update milestone briefs/presentations and attend milestone meetings as required
  • Ensure electronic deliveries of related files and documentation occur
  • Perform Quality Assurance tasks of configuration data to ensure accuracy


Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Must be a US Citizen and be able to successfully pass a background investigation 
  • 3-5 years of Aegis Navy CM experience and a thorough understanding of Aegis CM processes
  • High School Diploma
  • Proficient with the Navy's ACCESS CP database and have a strong ability of generating/manipulating reports
  • Experience with creating/manipulating Ad hoc reports using Discoverer and proficient in understanding Software Baselines
  • Comprehensive knowledge of principles, methods, and techniques used in configuration management support
  • Proven knowledge of formal change control processes: SWCs, NOCs, and NOBs
  • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office tools, primarily MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Self starter with strong technical skills and ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • Proficient in SCM Metric gathering and reporting
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in formal reports across all organizational levels

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in technical field or related discipline
  • Experience related to weapons systems and/or Navy programs
